I got back safely, met a guy who works at General Dynamics and had some BBQ at the airport in Memphis. I spent the next day watching my Red Wings games and unpacking. I came back to WMU last night and everyone was glad to see me again. Today, we picked up Ryans bike. Later today, we went disc golfing, and Ryan let me ride his bike around the parking lot. It was alot of fun, and I really want to get one now.

I'm in Bolonga right now. It was fast and painless leaving Firenze. The cab to the hotel was only 6 E and the bed is huge. Im going to iron my pants, watch some CNN World, and get ready for my free breakfast tomorrow...

I woke up at 9:30, made my final check of the house, and headed to Saci. I used one of the ZIP drives from the Multimedia Room to transfer the remaining files to disk. Heathers ZIP was being cheeky, and didn't want to play ball. For some reason the sound on Daily Thoughts is off by about a half second, so Im re-compressing it. If I have time, Im going to try and recompress Nightwalker to a higher quality. Brian, Tom, and Elias are still in town, and I'm going to hang out with them until I leave.

Yesterday I slept till about noon. Everyone else was getting ready to go home. They had a flight to catch the next morning. I went to the store and got some cleaning supplies. Later, I was walking to Tinas and ran into Brian, Tom, and Elias. I ate dinnner with them and then we went to Tinas for about 1/2 hour. Then we headed to the Lion's Fountain one more time. My roomates were there, and I used my free beer cards to treat them. We walked home, and I tried to sleep, but it was sooo hot. At around 3 everyone was making all sorts of noise getting ready. When it was close to leaving time, Mike calls the cab, and tells them to come within the hour. They told Mike 5 mins, and he said ok. Then he runs back and tells everyone they have 5 mins. Meanwhile Im sitting there thinking that they have plently of time, and there was no need to rush things. Genna got flusterd and lost her keys. I told her not to worry and to go down to wair for the cab. I went down to see them off. Mike went to call the cab again, but also got flustered and hung up on the cab company. Then he took off into the train station looking for a cab. I told Amber that she should go call the cab people again. She did, and once again, the cabs were on there way. Mike was no-where to be found. As the cabs pull up, a red Fiat with room for 2 people and luggage pulls up and Mike gets out, he was thinking of hiring them to take them to the airport. Meanwhile one taxi has already left, and the other one is waiting. I told Mike to just get in the cab and go. He did, and Im sure they made it alrigh.

Went to Rome on Saturday. Mike and I woke up with ten minutos to catch the train, and made it. Katie and Andgie missed the train. I was happy that it was only Mike and me. We made it to Rome in 2 hours and went strait to the Vatican City. We saw St. Peters and then we walked over to the Sistine Chapel. I was really neat to see. After that we took a cab to the Hard Rock Cafe, which was right in the middle of where we wanted to be. We got there 20 mins before they started to seat people, so I started talking to these two ladies from Dallas. They were really nice and we had a good chat. I got a huge bruger, and about 4 pepsis. They played some classic music videos in the cafe. When Mike and I were just finishing our meals, a waiter comes to the table, and tells us that our bill has been taken care of. The one lady from Dallas bought us lunch, and I thought that was the coolest. After our fantastic meal, we went to the Borghese. I saw the best sculpture there I have ever seen. Bernini is my all time fav. now. They also had some sweet Carravagio paintings. After seeing the best sculpture ever, we walked over to the Spanish Steps, and then to the Pantheon. It was free to get in, and Raphael's tomb is there. We had only one more place to go after that....The Coloseum! As it came into view, we started taking pictures. As i took my 31st picture, my camera started to act up. The mirror was sticking in the up position, blobking the view finder. I thought that it was broken, but actually I had move a switch that keeps it up. Anyway the Coloseum was great, I walked around everywhere in it. After that we saw Michelangelo's Moses, and headed back to the train station. Mike waited in line to get a refund for the girls who didnt make it, and our train was delayed an hour. It was great day, and I would love to go back to ROMA!
